BOA Beauty Bar - 74% More Bookings on 20% More Traffic

Conversions grew nearly four times faster than clicks, so the account converts a far larger share of the traffic it buys.

The story

A South African nail and beauty group with more than twenty salons nationwide, from Cape Town to Johannesburg to Ballito. Manicures, acrylics, gel and polygel, plus a retail range of the products used in the chair.

Objectives

Fill chairs across a growing salon network without paying more per booking as the footprint expands.

Our approach

A multi-site service business fails on relevance before it fails on budget: an ad shown to someone forty kilometres from the nearest salon costs the same as one shown to a neighbour. Tightening that is where the gain came from.

The results

Clicks grew 20%. Conversions grew 74%. The account now converts a much larger share of what it pays for.

  • Meta conversions up 74% and revenue up 71% against month one.
  • Clicks up only 20% over the same period — the improvement came from conversion rate, not traffic volume.
  • Cost per acquisition down 24% and return on ad spend up 28%.

"Better bookings from roughly the same traffic beats more traffic every time."
