Best Google Ads agencies in Cape Town (2026)
By Chris Edington
Cape Town has no shortage of agencies that will run your Google Ads. What's harder to find is one that treats your ad spend like its own money, sets up conversion tracking properly, and reports on sales and leads rather than clicks. This guide compares seven Cape Town agencies that offer Google Ads management, with the facts you can check for yourself: where they're based, what they specialise in, and how their clients rate them on Google.
A note on this list: Boost Marketing is a Cape Town Google Ads agency, and we've put ourselves first. The other six are listed by their Google review count, and everything we say about them comes from their own websites and Google Business Profiles as of 28 September 2026. Ratings change, so check the live listing before you decide.

1. Boost Marketing
Office: Darter Road, Gardens · Focus: Google Ads, paid social and conversion rate optimisation for eCommerce, SaaS and lead-generation brands
We're a certified Google Partner agency, and Google Ads is the core of what we do: Search, Shopping and Performance Max, built around your margins rather than around clicks. Before we change anything we audit the account and fix conversion tracking (GA4, Google Ads conversion tags and enhanced conversions), because bidding can only optimise towards what it can measure.
Two things set us apart. First, fees: a flat monthly retainer in Rands, from R8,500 a month for Google Ads, never a percentage of your ad spend, so we have no reason to push your budget up. Second, reporting: you get a live dashboard instead of a monthly PDF, and we manage the landing experience as well as the ads, since that's where most of the lost revenue usually sits.
Our Google Business Profile is new, so judge us on our case studies, which show the numbers before and after we took each account over. More on how we work: Google Ads management in South Africa.
2. Woww
Office: Watershed, V&A Waterfront · Google rating: 5.0 from 105 reviews
Woww describes itself as an award-winning digital agency based in Cape Town and London, and its Google listing is categorised as a website designer first. Its services span WordPress web design, SEO and AI visibility, e-commerce, hosting and online marketing, including Google Ads. Woww is a good fit if you need a new website as well as ads and would rather deal with one supplier. It publishes some of its prices on its Google listing, which makes budgeting easier.
3. Macrocosm Ultra Digital
Office: Time Business Park, Bloubergstrand · Google rating: 4.9 from 72 reviews
Macrocosm positions itself as a digital marketing agency and Google Partner, specialising in search engine marketing: SEO, AI optimisation and Google Ads, plus social media and web development. "Google Ads" is one of the topics reviewers mention most on its listing. It suits businesses that want organic search and paid search run by the same team.
4. Digital Fox
Office: Old Castle Brewery, Woodstock · Google rating: 5.0 from 63 reviews
Digital Fox is a Cape Town digital marketing agency whose Google listing highlights paid advertising, and its site covers paid social on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as Google. Reviewers most often mention knowledgeable, responsive staff and campaigns that work on smaller budgets, so it's worth a look if you're a small business running ads for the first time.
5. Brandright
Office: Roeland Square, Gardens · Google rating: 4.9 from 58 reviews
Brandright is a marketing and advertising agency that combines brand work with digital marketing. It fits businesses that want strategy, creative and digital channels from one agency, rather than a paid-search specialist.
6. SCOPE
Office: Steenberg Office Park, Tokai · Google rating: 4.8 from 23 reviews
SCOPE calls itself a specialist, growth-focused paid media agency, generating leads through Google Ads and Meta Ads. If you want an agency that does PPC and nothing else, it's one of the few in Cape Town that positions itself that narrowly.
7. Addon Digital
Office: The Old Foundry, Green Point · Google rating: 5.0 from 22 reviews
Addon describes itself as a Cape Town social media agency that also offers website design, Google Ads, SEO, and SMS and email marketing. One of its reviews on Google praises the return on its paid ads. It suits brands whose main channel is social media and who want Google Ads managed alongside it.
How much does a Google Ads agency cost in Cape Town?
There are always two costs. Your ad spend is paid to Google directly, and you set the budget. The management fee is what the agency charges to run the account. Agencies structure that fee in one of three ways:
- Flat monthly retainer. A fixed fee for an agreed scope. It's predictable, and the agency earns nothing extra when you spend more. This is how we charge.
- Percentage of ad spend. Common and simple, but it rewards the agency for raising your budget whether or not the return improves.
- Performance-based. A fee tied to leads or revenue. It sounds safe, but it depends entirely on tracking that both sides trust.
Whichever model you choose, ask for the fee in Rands, in writing, with the notice period spelled out.
Seven questions to ask before you hire
- Who owns the Google Ads account? It should be in your name, so you keep the history if you leave.
- How will you track conversions? Listen for GA4, Google Ads conversion tags and enhanced conversions, checked against your actual sales or CRM.
- Who will work on my account day to day? Meet them, not just the person selling to you.
- How often do you review search terms and add negative keywords? Weekly is the standard for an active account.
- What does reporting look like? You want revenue, leads and cost per acquisition, not impressions.
- Which campaign types will you use, and why? Shopping and Performance Max for most online stores, tightly structured Search campaigns for lead generation.
- What's the notice period? A confident agency doesn't need a 12-month lock-in.
Choosing the right fit
If you need a website as well as ads, a full-service studio like Woww or Brandright keeps it under one roof. If search is your main channel, Macrocosm pairs SEO with Google Ads. If you want paid media and nothing else, SCOPE is the specialist. And if you're an eCommerce or lead-generation brand that wants every Rand of Google Ads spend tied to revenue, with the landing pages optimised as well, talk to our Cape Town team. We'll audit your account first and tell you where the wasted spend is.
